CORNUCOPIA Planning and Preparations - Sat, Feb 3, 2001

△▼△TOP SECRET//SI//DGO△▼△

Report No: GT/CO-010203-003240314

Location: Baltimore-Washington Corridor

Agents:

  • Cortez (Duncan)
  • Drummond (recruit)
  • McCarter (recruit)
  • Monroe (recruit)

Summary:

D-Cell agents, led by Agent Duncan, began planning an operation to eliminate the adult staff at Cornucopia House after reviewing disturbing evidence suggesting ritualistic and supernatural activities. The agents acquired firearms, communications equipment, and a stolen vehicle in preparation for the mission.

Operation Report:

  • Drummond and Monroe acquired firearms, including four 12-gauge shotguns and two light rifles, at a gun show in Rosaryville. They took precautions to avoid creating a direct connection between their purchases.
  • Monroe encountered a suspicious vendor selling exotic meats and accidentally stabbed his thumb on what appeared to be a fang or tooth embedded in a piece of jerky.
  • Agent Duncan and McCarter acquired electronics components which Agent Duncan later used to create communication equipment and night vision goggles.
  • When returning home, McCarter observed a large flock of crows circling and dancing around an object in a field near his house, which turned out to be a dead possum.
  • The crows attacked McCarter, with one striking him in the forehead and causing a minor injury. The encounter unsettled McCarter.
  • The team stole a 1998 Kia Sportage in Baltimore, with Monroe hotwiring the vehicle and Agent Duncan disabling the aftermarket alarm system.
  • While driving towards their destination, Agent Duncan re-examined the disturbing photographs, using his expertise to determine the likely location where the photos were taken, just north of Cornucopia House.
  • The team scouted the area around Cornucopia House, identifying a field to the northeast as a potential discreet parking spot for their approach on foot.

Analysis and Recommendations:

  • The psychological impact of the evidence on Agent Duncan and the unsettling crow encounter experienced by McCarter should be monitored closely, as these events may affect their judgment and performance during the operation. Consideration should be given to providing additional support or counseling if necessary.
  • The anomalous behavior of the crows and their apparent attack on McCarter may be an omen related to the supernatural activities at Cornucopia House. Further research into the symbolism and occult significance of crows should be conducted to better understand this incident and its potential implications for this and other ongoing missions.
  • The suspicious vendor encountered by Monroe warrants further investigation. The exotic meats, particularly the alleged lion jerky containing a fang or tooth, may be connected to other ongoing investigations into anomalous wildlife trade and cryptozoological phenomena.
  • The team’s acquisition of firearms and a stolen vehicle, while necessary for the operation, poses significant legal risks. A-Cell should prepare contingency plans to mitigate the impact of any potential legal entanglements to reduce exposure risk.
  • The disturbing nature of the photographs and the implied involvement of children in the ritualistic activities at Cornucopia House suggest a potential link to the ongoing “Night Lights” investigation. Cross-referencing the evidence with files from that case may provide additional insights or connections.
